things i found interesting inside the airport

assalamualaikum.

this is my 3rd time traveling around the asian country. i wish to travel around the glob. wink wink.

back packers might be great idea for us, my sweetheart and i ^______^

it is ok.

let's take a look what i found during my 1st visit inside seam reap international airport:


the news paper.

every time i travel i bought a newspaper/ magazines published by that country which i found that material was interesting to grab home. however in this case, the monk catches my eyes with his sneakers! i snap this at airport.


nice ceiling deco.

if i am not mistaken this is a lamp. such as a chandelier. pretty cool eh.


the international airport.

three different airports in cambodia operated by one big company. i went to seam reap and phnom penh. one day i hope i can visit sihanoukville.


the sculpture.

well, you know cambodia have million of sculptures. you can see different styles of them, every where. this become their trade mark to tourist/ foreigners.


the focal point. awesome!

i share with you several info about my journey to cambodia.. after we visited seam reap international airport we straight to phnom penh which take us about the whole day.

we went by bus with poor road conditions and the journey started around 2pm and we arrived phnom penh city at 8pm!

just imagine, within poor road condition, no place to rest like r &r in malaysia, no street lighting and no no no even no public toilet!

in fact, that what we called an experiences or challenges or adventurous.

this was a great opportunity when our team (post graduate students and lecturers of uitm shah alam) explored seam reap international airport with a special tour guide by their group.

hahh.. take this 1st eh.

ha ha ha. it takes me almost one week to wrap up my experiences in cambodia. yet, we are not reach the end of the story.

there are few interesting places to go.

i'm turn wild when i found lots of cambodian silk and hand made. ha ha ha.

best shot in ta prohm

morning.

i bet you, ta prohm was the best place so far i visited in cambodia. just because this place located in the middle of jungle, in fact thousand and even more shaddy trees there.

wink wink..

it was cool! hey, i dont know where to start. i hope you enjoys my pics inside this temple.



this is the entrance/ gate of ta prohm. i forgot to shot this pic from the front view! sigh.

eh, at the above link i only managed to shot from the left view of the gate -____-" hu hu hu.



please ignored my excited chubby face! at the back can be seen the huge shady tree.



then, several part of this place were under conservation and restoration. if i am not mistaken, angelina jolie shot her scenes here.



surprised is it! i wonder how many years of this tree?? o_O"



ha ha ha! this one also. the root was on top of the blocks. i believes, hundreds or even more years ago this huge tree was grow inside the blocks.

peace! hurm. do blame who ever shot this picture. she/he cut the image at top of the temple. hu hu hu.



even at the night before i did not get enough sleep, when ever camera time i must express my excited mode. ha ha ha



again. another giant tree laid at the top of the temple. miracle, oh! at least, the top still can support the load T_T



since this temple was huge, here i managed to shot one of the last path before we exit at another gate.



finish! smile.

the tour inside the temple take around two hours. or might be more. after bla bla, the sun set.

p/s: next stop is a night market. i skip the story to jade shop because the price is like wtf??! cant afford. hu hu hu.

hello there. howdy? couple of days ago i am exhausted with multiple work loads. huh! went to main office, stuck in crisis, clash ideas, problems matter and yesterday even the worst part ever no water! *cried.

damn stress.

however, when i lay down in front of lappy and wrote my experiences about cambodia such as an escapism. thanks god.

the entrance of ta prohm temple

good evening every one.

now i am introducing you with another historical places in cambodia, ta prohm temple. * feeling like history's teacher!

ta prohm (ancestor brahma) is the modern name of the temple was built in a late 12th century and early 13th century. the original name was rajavihara (royale temple).

during my field trip study to cambodia, several part from this temple were under conservation and restoration. fyi, angelina jolie have been there for tomb raider film.

psst.. buzz me when you have update about beautiful blogger award eh.

based on my previous entries, i update my 1st few hours in seam reap, cambodia. after we went to the angkor watt, we off to one of malaysian restaurant for lunch then back to hotel.

heaven, oh! i am taking a shower and have a short nap.

the next destination was the place where angelina jolie have been for tomb raider film.. the rest were stand by at the lobby and cam whoring! wink wink.


at the lobby. isk. i forgot what is the name of the hotel. sigh. eh, i wear a new shawl made by cambodian silk.


this is my room mate, fizan. she's qs. the must bring items were hat and water!


then, this is my group leader, kak ros who is an architect and my best buddy, linda who is a qs.

every one were waiting for the bus and tour guides. we stand by to the next destination. stay tune..

1st impression on cambodia

hello there.. good afternoon babes!

there is a request from my buddy asking me how is cambodia? personally..cambodia is going to be a develop country.

in fact, there are trying very hard (i mean the government and private sectors) esp reducing the numbers of poverty.

however, when talking about tourism industry this country has showing good percentages and of cause numbers of tourists increased tremendously.

this is because there have thousands of historical places which must visit! ha ha ha.

ok. the real things that i love to share before we went to the next historical places are:



as i mention earlier march always in dry season. hu hu hu. *cough-cough. april is worst!



the public transportation i guess.. there were waiting in front of the entrance of the angkor watt.



cambodia sold goods. i bet you the price were much much more expensive rather that you went to the market. eh, they ord plus the logistic cost and bla bla cost..



he sold hurm.. something like snails. i believes there are lot of species of snails. might be one of that species lah.



please ignored my messy style.. i walked at the dusty road under the sun. hu hu hu.

haihh.. above are what i have experiences in cambodia. never tell me what is my impression because when my lecture inform me our field trip was cambodia then i said oh! eh? ok, fine.

p/s: i wish to visit this place during the rainy season because the weather much much more better rather than dry season!

let's go to angkor watt

good morning. oh, sorry for late updates! hu hu hu.

yeah, without further due let's jump to the conclusion. eh no! let's take a look what angkor watt is all about. wink wink.

* walking mode..



nice, is it. i have mention that angkor watt 1st build since 12th century and this is the way to angkor watt from the entrance..



damn hot! yesss i am hot. ha ha ha. because of sunny days lah. i am walking to the temple. then, stop by for a camera time!



thank god! finally i arrived safely inside the temple. it was so cool like in caves. purposely they (other tourists) visited this temple for prayers but for us we visited this place to experience ourselves looking for historical places.



i wonder how cambodian managed to build this place. thousands of sculptures and oh i dont know what to describe were there.



this is where they pray. the funniest part was one of their monk gave me something to pray! hu hu hu. oh, no thanks..



again, camera time. hu hu hu. any where any time. this place also can lah! wink wink..



well, there are three stages of angkor watt. each stages peeps must climbed via wooden staircase. but, the last one currently closed to public. there were not using wooden staircase but you can see down there.. dangerous, oh!



last but not least, i close this entry with my picture in front of the final stage of angkor watt..

during my visited to angkor watt i keep on wondering this and that. hu hu hu. now i realized why they used to call cambodia the kingdom of wonder..
